RE: RAID!




Is that a PowerEdge system?

If so, then the RAID controller is not on the AIC7xxx card. Its a PERC
controller. Theres supposed to be support of it in Linux, but I have never
tried it. (The state would not appreciate me installing linux on their
servers :-)

What kind of raid are you using? I know that Linux comes with 
drivers for raid 0 and raid 1 types but I'm not sure about drivers
for raid 3, 4, or 5. Let me know and I'll take a look into it.
