Version 3.3.6 is available on Xfree86.org at the following URL:

ftp://ftp.xfree86.org/pub/XFree86/3.3.6/

The latest version (pre-beta 4) is available in source form only
from this URL:

ftp://ftp.xfree86.org/pub/XFree86/snapshots/3.9.18/

As far as I can tell 3.3.6 is the current stable version, and if 
you want something newer then you'll have to deal with 
compiling from source.
