Yeppers.  Springfield is getting access, slow in the coming, but still.

If you live between Wabash and Old Jacksonville, you're within the current
North/South area.  The West/East is moving steadily east.  I know far west
already has saccess, and I'm (right next to the mall) getting my installation
done on this Friday.

Agreed.  "Modem" has become a mass-market word.  It no longer means
modulator/demodulator, but instead, "that internet thing the computer uses."
