snmp libraries

/usr/sbin/ethereal: error in loading shared libraries: /usr/sbin/ethereal:
undefined symbol: snmp_set_full_objid

I am getting this error when attempting to launch ethereal. Do I need an
additional path set up within my profile? I have the snmp packages
installed, and the necessary libs are in place:

/usr/lib/libsnmp.so.0.4.1.1
/usr/lib/libucdagent.so.0.4.1.1
/usr/lib/libucdmibs.so.0.4.1.1


do i need to make a symlink within /lib?
