Re: Setting color depth



Ok, and now I REALLY found it. I had to add the following:

	Subsection "Display1"
		Depth 8
		Modes "1024x768"
	EndSubSection

to my /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file.

and then use startx -- :1 -depth 8 to get a second (ugly) x session
