Re: Announcing a beta release of Red Hat Linux: Skipjack (fwd)

For reference, for those of you who have installed apt for Red Hat
(from http://enigma.freshrpms.net/rpm.html?id=717), you can now
upgrade to the skipjack beta (or just install packages from it) by
adding the following to your /etc/apt/sources.list:

  rpm http://ftp.silug.org/pub/apt redhat/skipjack/en/$(ARCH)/redhat os

If you want to upgrade your entire system, you should be able to do

  apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade

I *HAVE NOT* tried this, but I have done upgrades from 6.2, 7.0, and
7.1 to 7.2 with apt, so it certainly should work. I have installed
mozilla 0.9.9 on a 7.2 box with apt though.
