showing a From: field in pine.

I am not sure *how* I did it, but I had a pine configuration that would 
show the current From: field when composing a normal message. It allowed 
me to move into that field and edit it so I could create an email that 
appeared to come from "support@" or another role account.
For the life of me, I can't recall how I did it. And now, the only closest 
thing I can come to getting it is through using Roles and setting one up 
for each role I would like to use. The other method was more flexible and 
I'd like to get it back if I could.

Is anyone familiar with a way of doing this?
