Off Topic, Ford

I checked with Steve to make sure this was acceptable, I am posting a
synopsis of several opportunities I am recruiting for.  Please respond

These are all direct positions with Ford Motor Co. in Dearborn MI.  I
realize it is a stretch, but considering the poor market, and quality of
the positions....  Ford has an excellent work environment and top notch
benefits.  Salaries are competitive, but not the high end of the
industry.

Basically the positions vary in level of challenge from network
administrators (5+ years of experience) to PM's.  Ford is centralizing
their infrastructure (Databases, and HW) into one group.  The purpose is
when Product development needs a new server, one can be re used rather
than a new purchase made.  Or beyond that lease space on an existing
server with space.  

Key skills are Linux, Unix (mostly an HP and IBM environment), NT 2000,
Cisco, SAN, Tivoli and other network monitoring tools, Peregrine Asset
Management SW, web servers and email administration software.

Stipulations:
Must have at least a BS or be so extremely close to completion (within
12 months).  Solid track record of employment, and references.  

I expect positions like this to be available throughout the year and do
not intend to post them again unless there is a unique twist.  If you or
a colleague has some combination of the above skills, and meets the
stipulations I can almost guarantee an interview.
