3 foot major axis diameter, 2 foot minor axis diameter.

I don't know the db, but yes, it is very directional.

That sounds about right on the diameter, not sure on the specific
type.

Also shorter helps, but in my case, it works.  It try to follow
the rule, if it ain't broke don't fix it, (unless it looks really
fun to play with), so I haven't tried to improve it.  They were
pretty clear that I should only get cable as long as I need, but
I wasn't sure where I would have everything so I got it for the
worst case.  They supplied everything with the startup price.  It
cost the same for 25 foot or 100 foot, big dish, or pringles can
antennae.  I've been happy with the setup.
