Re: squirrelmail, bincimap, qmail, and vpopmail

I ended up going a slightly different direction. I setup the latest vers of
Qmail (or netqmail as its called), and the latest of vpopmail as well. Then
I installed Courier IMAP, but an older version, not the most current. I
tried in vain to get the most current version of Courier to work with
vpopmail, using their supposed inbuilt -libvchkpw option. NO dice. So I
backtracked to a version that I found was documented as working under RH
with vpopmail/qmail. And now everything is golden.

Thanks,

Tim

Hmm,
Why Binc? I never had much success with it, I'd look at dovecot
for an easier and more robust setup.

There won't be a global HOWTO but basically.

1. Get a working IMAP server, check it with some IMAP client
2. Install Squirrelmail following any of the HOWTO's it will use the IMAP
server

Your done.

Never done what your doing, but I have done Squirrelmail, and a lot of
Maildir IMAP (best idea, don't do it) but no vpopmail.

Good Luck.
