Re: PHP and MySQL



Depends how up on Perl you are. Sounds weird I know but the languages are 
so similar, for some it helps to just have a reference guide of the 
differences. There's a stack of books that combine both PHP and MySQL, 
what I did was head over to the Barnes and Noble on Veterans, they had a 
pile, after reading through them in the shop I opted to just get the 
O'Reilly Programming PHP.

If you're not familiar with Perl, you probably want to get one of the 
books that takes you along from the basics. Either way head over to 
Veterans if you are local.
