There are 2 different versions of Red Hat distributions ...
1)  Fedora Core (formerly Red Hat Linux), and
2)  Red Hat Enterprise Linux

There are also a sprawling set of adds programs for Fedora distributions
-- including Extras, Legacy, etc...

But this is no different than Windows.  Microsoft has a sprawling set of
applications that run on Windows -- but they are just separate products.
In Linux, 50+ Microsoft products are equivalent in a typical Linux
distribution.
