Firefox tip: removing 1 entry in your stored history and form data

Just found this out after all these years.

In Firefox, you can delete all those annoying form entries you mistyped
but the browser stored anyway.

Lets say you entered root and tabbed into your password field but it
didn't make it to your password field and you enter your password and
hit enter.

You get a login failure but now firefox has stored this entry and every
time you enter the letter — r — you get the dropdown showing
rootUberPassword

Just highlight the one you want to remove (while in the dropdown mode),
then hit shift-delete on the keyboard.

Handily, it works for most of the suggestion dropdowns in Firefox – form
fields, the quick search field, and also the location field.
Categories

This means you won't have to empty your entire stored form data just to
remove "girls gone wild dvd" from the search field on eBay.
