Using Linux as a VPN router to a CheckPoint VPN-1

Hello All,

Has anyone here used Linux to connect to a CheckPoint VPN-1 Switch?

I do realize that you can do a Linux to Linux VPN, but I am unsure about connecting to some of the popular commerical VPN Devices available.

If so, please provide a brief overview and sources of information so I can learn about the process.
