i see this as the last line in my dmesg...

  loop: loaded (max 8 devices)

can anyone explain what i am seeing here? a google search seems to just 
return other mailing lists where users are posting similar dmesg results. 
searching redhat.com comes up with nothing for a match.

anyone know what this is referring to?
