This was something I was wondering about, but it turns out that the person 
has a copy of partition magic(r), so I hope to use that. Now I'm not sure 
she's around this afternoon so it may be a couple'a days before I get to 
it. 

Looking at the RH9 docs, I don't think that it supports resizing XP 
partitions, they still say to use parted.
