Good advice.

Use a *fully* metal case. Try to find one that also has metal covers on the 
5.25 drive bays.

Make sure that you also do not have any uncovered card slots in the rear.

You can also try using a common *earth* ground for both devices (computer and 
rig).

Also, make sure that your feed line is well shielded and the antenna is 
located as far away from the computer as possible.
