Springfield.pm: Tuesday, January 12 meeting (fwd)

I hate to keep hammering you all with this, but we've had some new
people join the list recently...

Then next meeting of the Springfield Perl Mongers is tomorrow,
Tuesday, January 12, 1999, at 7 pm at the Illinois State Museum
Research and Collections Center at 1011 East Ash Street in
Springfield.

Tomorrow's meeting will be primarily devoted to a continuation of our
Perl tutorial.  Hopefully this meeting will mostly wrap it up.  The
things we need to cover include the following:

    * File handles
    * Regular expressions
    * OO

If we can buzz through that, hopefully next meeting we can get on with
something a bit more interesting.  I'm open to suggestions, although I
think perhaps a discussion of CGI.pm and maybe mod_perl would be a
decent topic.

In any case, as always, please bring any questions/problems/whatever
that relate to Perl (or that you think could be solved with Perl) so
we have interesting stuff to talk about.  ;-)

BTW, note that I've made a few updates to the content of the web site.
(It needs a *lot* of cosmetic work, but...)  I've got links to the
mailing list archives (which, unlike every other mailing list archive
I have, actually breaks everything up by month) on the main page, plus
I've added links to a few important Perl sites.
