Re: PAM password restrictions




everything that i read certainly seems to point to commenting out

 password    required      /lib/security/pam_cracklib.so retry=3

in the file

 /etc/pam.d/system-auth

however when i do so, no passwords are allowed to be changed. it seems
like this comment breaks pam.
