It's in mailx.  "apt-get install mailx" should fix you up.

You may have better luck with a different mailer.  I prefer exim on
slink and postfix on potato.

Try installing mailx.  If that doesn't fix things, try purging and
reinstalling sendmail, answering the questions again.
